Licensees, Responsible Persons and Doorstaff already appointed on the Licensed Staff Register and persons who are delegated to be ‘Authorised Persons’ to manage a licensed premises in the absence of the Licensee or Responsible Person.
If you are currently registered on the Licensed Staff Register as a Licensee, Responsible Person, or Doorstaff member, you must complete this training PRIOR to the expiry of your previous training certificate to retain your registration. Failure to do so will result in the Police removing you from the Register. You will then be required to undertake the full part -1- and part-2- training sessions again.
If you act as an ‘Authorised Person’ within any licensed premises, you must complete this training PRIOR to the expiry of your previous training certificate. Failure to do so means you will not be able to act as a Authorised Person until such time you undertake the full part -1- and part-2- training sessions again.

This course qualifies under the Vocational Training Assistance Scheme (VTAS), a Department of Education, Sport and Culture scheme for financial assistance towards the costs of vocational training. You may be eligible for funding. To qualify you should ensure any application is submitted at the time of booking this course and retain the booking receipt as evidence of payment. The course cost includes attendance at a future Licensed Trades Workshop session, a joint initiative with the trade, multi- agencies and Departments of Government using the unique reference number you gain by booking this course.
This Continuation training programme is designed to ensure skills and knowledge remain current and effective over time, reinforcing professional competence and deepening skills, whilst ensuring you keep up to date on legislation and procedures relevant to your role.

You should book and complete the Continuation course before the expiry of your Licensed Staff Register expiry date. Failure to do so will result in the Police removing you from the Register.
